SIM OTC (Beijing) DMS Students Symposium Was Held Successfully
On May 8th , “Communicate with the School Leaders” DMS Students Symposium was successfully held by Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) Teaching Center (Beijing) at Room 402, Main Teaching Building of the Central University of Finance and Economics. Prof. Kwok Kee Wei, Dr. Timothy Chan, Ms. Sabrina Shen and Mr. Yupeng Gao from SIM Headquarters and 27 representatives of DMS students had face-to-face communication.
During the symposium, the student representatives shared their life experiences in the campus, professional learning and internships, discussed about the school management, including teaching facilities, accommodations and so on. Prof. Kwok Kee Wei, Dr. Timothy Chan had in-depth exchanges with each student's questions.
Prof. Kwok Kee Wei hoped DMS students could integrate into the campus as soon as possible after arriving in Singapore, communicate more with the faculty members and classmates in their learning and life, gain friendships, establish clear goals, make career plans, master excellent skills, and contribute to the society after graduation. Prof. Kwok Kee Wei required all the functional departments of SIM to respond promptly to the reasonable demands of the students, formulate work plans, regularly provide feedback on work progress, and effectively improve the pertinence and effectiveness of education work.
The DMS Students Symposium demonstrated the master's spirit of students caring about the development of SIM OTC(Beijing) and it contributed to the construction of a high-quality educational environment.
